Tomorrow sees the arrival of June. This can be a great month for sea trout on the Moy so I do hope the weather improves. We’ve had weeks of hard northerlies…bitterly cold! Over the years I’ve discovered these fish are sensitive to the elements and a good session can be spoiled with a change in wind direction and/or a drop in temperature.
This past week saw the arrival of mackerel and Sandeels into Killala Bay and I suspect there will be a run of sea trout in the estuary. I’m out on Pegasus from tomorrow so the week end will tell a tale. Get the rods out lads and launch the boats…WE ARE GOING FISHING🎣
