Snapped line!

We had an ‘easy’ north wind on the estuary yesterday. Temperatures were down but the clear skies took the sting out of it. The terns have arrived and they were very active for an hour after the tide began to flood. However, the sea trout weren’t impressed with conditions so it was a slow day ending with four average size keepers. Our first fish never showed, staying deep and eventually snapped the new line close to the boat…enough said!

Water clarity is holding at 3.75 feet. Not bad despite the broken weather.
