The Moy Estuary
The Moy Estuary begins at Ballina, Co. Mayo and runs for five miles before entering Killala Bay. It is narrow and lined with stone walls for about three and a half miles before opening out into a huge basin. It then narrows again between Nick Faldo’s Bartra Island and Enniscrone Beach.
The Moy Estuary is a little piece of Heaven I share with friends and guests and it’s got everything… scenery, a wonderful variety of bird life, golden beaches, a beautiful island and above all else, healthy runs of Seatrout.
